Upskili is a learning platform that starts from a goal rather than a catalogue. You say what you want to be able to do; it works out which skills that requires, checks what you can already do, and builds a sequenced path through the gap — adjusting as you go.

No. You can state a goal and see the skills it requires without signing up. An account is needed to save a path, take a diagnostic and track progress, because those need somewhere to keep your results.

A catalogue asks you to choose what to learn, which assumes you already know. Upskili works backwards from the outcome you want to the skills it needs, then forwards into an order that respects what you have already got. Two people with the same goal and different starting points get different paths.

The current focus is AI and digital skills — artificial intelligence and machine learning, generative AI, AI automation, Python, data analytics and SQL, cybersecurity, digital marketing and no-code development. You are not limited to those: state any goal and Upskili works out the skills behind it.

Upskili is priced in credits rather than per course. New accounts get 100 free credits on verifying their email. After that you can top up from $1 for 30 credits, up to $100 for 4,800, or take membership at $19 a month for 1,000 credits — $190 a year for 12,000, which is two months free.

Credits pay for the work a model does on your behalf — planning a learning path, running a diagnostic, generating a lesson or an assessment. Different operations cost different amounts because they cost Upskili different amounts to run. Reading what has already been generated does not cost credits.

Credits you have paid for never expire. Promotional credits can carry an expiry, and where they do it is stated when they are granted.

Cancelling never removes credits that have already been granted. Credits from months you paid for stay in your balance; you simply stop receiving new ones.

No. Membership is the cheaper rate per credit if you are learning regularly, but one-off top-ups from $1 work the same way and do not renew.

No. Card details are handled by the payment processor and never reach Upskili's servers.

A short diagnostic establishes what you can already do. The path is then sequenced across the gap between that and your goal, easiest dependency first, so you are not taught something that rests on a thing you have not covered.

Yes. Practice and assessments feed back into what Upskili believes you know, and the remaining path is re-sequenced against that. Doing well on something shortens it; struggling adds the groundwork underneath.

Yes. The site works on phones, tablets and desktops, and progress follows your account rather than the device.
